Travel Plans marked Zoey Sidwell’s first short film as a director, and it ended up being exactly the kind of project she was hoping to make. Something contained, a little off-center, and built around a turn. The shoot took place during a heat wave, mostly inside a car, which in hindsight was a choice. Still, it came together with a small team, a lot of planning, and a cast that was more than willing to sweat through it. Somehow, it was a lot of fun.
