In a conversation with LRM Online, Zoey Sidwell talks about directing Travel Plans and what it meant to step behind the camera for the first time...
She describes starting with a simple goal: find a contained story that could be made on a small scale, and building everything around that. The process was a mix of planning and figuring things out as she went, from assembling a crew to shaping performances on set. What began as an experiment turned into something she genuinely enjoyed, and the experience made it clear she wants to keep directing and continue developing her work as a filmmaker.
