Nerds That Geek notes Travel Plans has "An epic twist..."

John Edward Betancourt of Nerds That Geek recently reviewed Zoey Sidwell’s Travel Plans, following its screening at the LA Shorts International Film Festival. The review focuses on the film’s ability to tell a complete story in under three minutes without feeling rushed. Tiny runtime. Large emotional mess. Efficient filmmaking.

“This truly is an impressive short feature…one that runs a mere three minutes and accomplishes so much in that time.” 

Betancourt also points to the film’s final turn as one of its strongest elements, particularly the way the story quietly reframes itself after the audience thinks it understands where things are headed.
